About me—Ingrid
I am a quilter. I love quilting and wish that I could do it full time. It satisfies a creative need for me. It is also the best way for me to relax. I have meet some of the neatest people and have discovered that quilters have a language all their own and communicate thru the quilts they make and love. I have been quilting for 9 years and feel that I have just scratched the surface on what there is to learn and try.
I love trying new things. In fact in this last year, I have made myself step out of my box to try new things. Wow, what an experience. Looking back to quilts I made in the past 2 years or so, it looks like an entirely different person made them. I guess I am starting to develop my own style as I try to satisfy my desire to create new designs and work with color and threads.
I hope to be able to share the passion I have for quilting to everyone who reads this blog. I hope to share triumphs as well as failures and all kinds of stories along the way.
